Wet morning in the Czech Republic

Repsol Honda rider Andrea Dovizioso headed the time sheets during the morning warm up for todays Czech Grand Prix ahead of teammate Dani Pedrosa.

Conditions this weekend have been mixed, fog caused yesterdays practice session to be delayed, but the warm up was the first time that the circuit was wet for the riders. By sessions end Dovizioso was 1.6 seconds clear of Pedrosa and Stoner.

In Moto2 Juilian Simon was fastest from Gabor Talmacsi and pole sitter Shoya Tomizawa. Belgian wild card Xavier Simeon was fourth fastest with title leaders Toni Elias and Thomas Luthi down in the order in 17th and 15th respectively.

Nico Terol continued his strong weekend by ending the 125cc session as fastest from the impressive Kajub Kornfeil and Sturla Fagerhaug. Pole sitter Bradley Smith was fifth fastest. The Aspar Aprilia’s have dominated proceedings thus far this weekend but with the race expected to start in damp conditions tyre choice will be cruicial to the outcome.
