Foret leads the way after opening WSS practice

The new World Supersport season started with a familiar face leading the timesheets after opening practice at Philip Island.

Fabian Foret, 2002 WSS champion, continued his testing form to end the session ahead of Brook Parkes and David Salom. The trio were separated by just under 0.5s with Parkalgar Honda rider Sam Lowes and Luca Scassa the only other riders within a second of Foret.

Chaz Davis impressed last season aboard the Triumph but the Welshman lacked speed this morning, clocking the seventh fastest time ahead of English duo Gino Rea and James Ellison.
