Lorenzo pounces late to claim Qatar GP victory


With Casey Stoner suffering from arm pump in the closing stages of the Qatar Grand Prix Jorge Lorenzo pounced to claim the victory.

The 2010 world champion converted his pole position into an early lead before Stoner moved to the front on the third lap. The Australian proceeded to open a lead of over two seconds before his arm pump forced him to ease off and allowed Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa to find a way past.
